Job Description

As a seasoned insurance professional, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the management of our company's insurance function as we embark on a transformative journey. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise and strategic thinking to drive business growth while ensuring optimal coverage and risk management.

Key responsibilities include overseeing and managing our suite of insurance policies, working closely with brokers, advisors, and internal stakeholders to develop innovative insurance and risk management strategies. You will also manage insurance claims, conduct quantitative risk analysis, and ensure that insurable risks are effectively mitigated.

As an expert collaborator and communicator, you will engage across the business to provide valuable insights, support enterprise-wide risk frameworks, and educate stakeholders on best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Deep understanding of the Australian and global insurance market, risk transfer mechanisms, and enterprise risk management.
  • Proven ability to work closely with brokers, insurers, and consultants to design and implement tailored insurance solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, spreadsheet modelling, and alternative risk strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex insurance and risk issues and communicate them effectively to senior stakeholders.
