Protect Minors from Harm

We are seeking a highly skilled Threat Operations Specialist to play a critical role in our efforts to mitigate harmful content on our platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in child safety content review and removal, as well as exceptional communication skills and proficiency in a second language.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and respond to sensitive content reports, including child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury, and other objectionable and/or disturbing content.
  • Investigate complex cases to develop a detailed understanding of how abuse is occurring and attribute it to the person(s) or networks responsible.
  • Prepare high-quality written reports for both internal and external audiences, including law enforcement agencies.
  • Demonstrate operational excellence when evaluating risks, threats, and user privacy in time-critical situations.
  • Collaborate with others to respond to sensitive issues and provide deep knowledge into different exploitative content types.
  • Proactively identify undetected abuse by leveraging internal data, open-source intelligence, and trusted partner information.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in Trust and Safety moderation, preferably in child safety content review and removal.
  • Ability to operate in a high tempo, sensitive environment while meeting specific SLAs.
  • Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in a second language.
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, Criminology, or related field.
  • Experience in utilizing SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data manipulation.
