Electrical Service Technician Opportunity

SAGE Automation is seeking a skilled Electrical Service Technician to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our industrial team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional electrical services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine service and breakdown support to ensure minimal downtime for our clients.
  • Conduct preventative, corrective, and recommended maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Investigate and rectify complex electrical issues, documenting all findings and recommendations.
  • Install electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Assist with the commissioning of new projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Repair and maintain variable speed drives, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Accurately record and report on job activities, including timekeeping and invoicing.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
  • Industrial electrical experience, with a focus on domestic and commercial applications.
  • Electrical installation and commissioning experience, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Naval Defence experience highly regarded.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space training, and Hazardous Area accreditation highly desirable.

Key Requirements:

  • Australian Electrical Licence.
  • Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Australian Citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Baseline Clearance.
