Electrical Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Ventia, responsible for repairing and maintaining instrumentation, communication, and monitoring systems throughout the Western Harbour Tunnel and Sydney Harbour Tunnel.

About the Role

  • Repair and maintain electrical systems, including instrumentation, communication, and monitoring systems
  • Work on a 24/7 rotating roster, with a mix of day and night shifts
  • 12-hour shifts, with 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am rotations
  • 19 shifts per 6-week rotation, including weekends
  • Based at North Sydney

Requirements

  • Trade-qualified Electrician
  • Experience with electrical/electronic/instrumentation and communication works associated with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and other traffic control systems
  • Previous experience on Traffic Signals, underground power installations, and ITS/Communication equipment is advantageous
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel
  • Ability to learn and use general systems/software when necessary to support the position
  • NSW Drivers License (MR or greater)
  • Confined space entry ticket
  • Working from Elevated Work Platforms ticket
  • EWP
  • White Card
