About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced nurse to join our team in Queensland, Australia. This individual will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and administer medications as prescribed by medical professionals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, while maintaining effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Medical Procedures: Perform various medical procedures, including administering injections and performing vital sign checks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring timely and efficient data entry and retrieval.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in nursing, preferably in mental health or emergency departments.
  • Skillset: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
