Permanent Part-Time Registered Nurse Position in Queensland

We are seeking a skilled healthcare professional to fill a permanent part-time position for a Registered Nurse in Queensland.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with families and care staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the physical health of residents through effective nursing practices and interventions.
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding care plans and progress.
  • Manage and direct care staff to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Accurately document all aspects of patient care.
  • Effectively manage and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Provide leadership aligned with the Eden philosophy of care, promoting a positive and supportive environment for residents and staff alike.
Requirements:
  • Division 1 Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • Postgraduate education and ongoing professional development.
  • Experience working with persons living with dementia, pain management, and palliative care.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with frail and confused elders and their families.
