Job Title

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial products and services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored solutions for clients with specific financial needs, utilizing in-depth knowledge of products and services.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to expand existing business or retain clients through quality service and strategic support.
  • Analyze complex problems and issues to develop innovative solutions, ensuring seamless integration of technical and professional expertise.
  • Receive visitors and assist with information requests, referring more intricate matters to colleagues while maintaining efficient communication channels.
  • Monitor and manage CRM data, scheduling follow-up actions and documenting relevant interactions to facilitate effective retention and growth initiatives.
  • Clearly define objectives for each sales call or meeting, tailoring presentations to decision-makers and influencers, and gathering information to assess interest and identify areas requiring further exploration.
  • Develop and implement relationship management strategies for potential client accounts, leveraging personal networks and representing the organization at industry events.
  • Stay up-to-date on policies, procedures, and regulatory codes, obtaining supervisor approval for exceptions to ensure operational compliance.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities for business development by analyzing sales and market data.
  • Create new sales opportunities through targeted networking within the business sector and represent the organization at industry events.
  • Conduct research and analyze data using primary sources and business intelligence tools to drive insights and inform strategic decisions.
  • Promote collaboration and value creation through engagement with internal and external networks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Grade 12 (Matric) qualification and a valid driver's license are essential.
  • FAIS Compliance, a clear criminal record, and credit check are also mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in sales, is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills, are highly valued.
