Disability Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join our team in delivering high-quality care services.

About the Position:

This role involves working with clients who have complex needs, including behaviours of concern, psycho-social disabilities, and mental health requirements. You will provide person-centred care, assist with daily tasks, and ensure their lifestyle needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care services to meet individual client needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other support workers to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Assist with daily tasks, such as personal care and domestic duties.
  • Provide emotional support and understanding to clients with complex needs.
  • Document client progress and report any concerns to management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Mental Health, Disability, or Home and Community Care.
  • Experience working with challenging behaviours and a positive approach when faced with these challenges.
  • Cert III in Disability, Psychology, Social Work, or equivalent.
  • NDIS worker screening check.
  • Current driver's license and own vehicle.
  • COVID-19 vaccination.

Job Details:

  • Casual position.
  • Afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday.
  • Weekend availability.
  • Expected hours: 6 - 15 per week.
