
Motion Control Systems Expert

**Responsibilities:**
- Define and own system level functional and non-functional requirements for ADAS motion control features including ego pose estimation and control.
- Architect software and electrical interfaces between the ADAS application processor and vehicle motion modules, sensors, and actuators.
- Lead end-to-end development of ADAS motion control software components across the V cycle from system architecture and requirements to implementation, integration, and vehicle level verification.
- Collaborate closely with the ADAS trajectory generation team to ensure seamless integration and end-to-end functional performance.
- Lead integration and testing of ADAS motion control functions across unit, software in the loop, hardware in the loop, and vehicle levels, ensuring accurate torque path coordination and actuator control.
- Conduct in-vehicle testing to develop and validate initial parameter sets.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 or more years of experience developing safety-critical real-time embedded systems in C or C++ for production applications.
- 10 or more years of experience in automotive systems engineering, robotics, or control systems development with a focus on vehicle motion control, autonomy, or advanced driver assistance.
- Demonstrated experience defining system level requirements and architectures for safety-critical vehicle functions.
- Deep understanding of vehicle motion control including dead reckoning, sensor fusion, state estimation, graph-based optimizers, and motion control strategies such as model predictive and quadratic regulators.
- Cross-functional experience with software, electrical engineering, validation, and calibration to ensure coherent system behavior and interface alignment.
- Familiarity with system modeling, signal definition, and traceability tools such as SysML, DOORS, or Polarion.
**Base Salary Range:** $120,000 - $260,000 DOE
