Industrial Coatings Specialist
Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Coatings Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces of various materials prior to the application of protective coatings. This involves ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in surface preparation, coating application and maintenance. They will also be proficient in operating industrial equipment such as forklifts and power tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for coating application using various methods including abrasive blasting and hand tooling.
  • Apply protective coatings to meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Requirements
  • 5 years + experience in a similar role.
  • NZQA or Equivalent Industrial Coatings Level 1 certificate.
  • Current Forklift certificate and F endorsement.
  • Experience working in high compliance sites.
  • Proficient in operating industrial power tools.
