About the Job

This position requires a seasoned professional with expertise in commercial real estate (CRE) debt or equity origination, preferably with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of sourcing and closing deals worth over $50 million in the last 24 months. A strong Rolodex of active sponsors, mortgage bankers, and capital advisors nationwide is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and closing qualified mezzanine debt and preferred equity transactions exceeding $30 million annually
  • Owning the full cycle from initial outreach through diligence, term-sheet negotiation, credit committee, and funding
  • Expanding the referral network of mortgage bankers, broker-dealers, RIAs, and family offices to generate repeatable quarterly volume
  • Partnering with marketing to craft compelling campaigns, collateral, and webinars/panels that position the company as a leader in small-balance CRE financing
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in CRE debt or equity origination
  • Documented hunter with a proven track record of sourcing and closing deals worth over $50 million in the last 24 months
  • Fluency in DSCR, CLTV, NOI drivers, and deal structuring
  • A robust Rolodex of active sponsors, mortgage bankers, and capital advisors nationwide
