Our Melbourne office is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Geotechnical Engineer to play a key role in growing our Victorian presence.

This senior position involves providing technical leadership, managing complex projects, and mentoring junior staff while building long-term client relationships across the public and private sectors.

We are looking for an individual with a strong focus on delivering geotechnical projects from investigation through to design and construction, along with the ability to engage confidently with clients and contribute to business development.

About this role:

  • Lead the preparation and peer review of geotechnical proposals, designs, and reports, ensuring technical excellence.
  • Manage a variety of geotechnical projects from investigation through to design and construction, including contractor and budget management.
  • Engage directly with clients to deliver outcomes, grow relationships, and identify new opportunities.
  • Support the development of junior and mid-level staff, building technical depth and confidence within the team.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver integrated, client-focused solutions.

  • A strong track record of delivering geotechnical projects from investigation through to design and construction.
  • The ability to engage confidently with clients and contribute to business development.
  • Excellent technical skills, including a deep understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
