Job Description

The Chief Strategy Officer for Retail Banking plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic agenda across the retail banking business, reinforcing the organization's purpose and values.

This position is responsible for:

  • Elevating the strategic agenda to be ambitious and transformative, supported by effective planning and execution strategies.
  • Fostering alignment among all retail banking functions and teams to achieve a unified strategic direction.
  • Analyzing the operating environment to identify potential medium- to long-term issues and trends that impact the retail banking strategy.

The ideal candidate will possess a curious mindset, high credibility, advanced data analytics skills, sound governance expertise, and expertise in strategy, risk appetite, framework, and policy. They will also demonstrate strong persuading and influencing skills.

Key responsibilities include contributing to project initiatives, producing high-quality discussion papers and visual communications, managing the drafting and maintenance of strategic plans, and developing quality solutions and recommendations for the retail banking strategy.
