Project Engineering Role Overview

About the Project:

  • We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team for a challenging and iconic project, Snowy 2.0.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for all onsite technical matters, including construction verification works, scheduling, monitoring, planning, forecasting, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop construction methodologies, programmes, and Safe Work Method Statements for given packages.
  • Lead the delivery of stage 2 excavation, ground support, and Fibre-Reinforced Polymer works while coordinating with the wider project team.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of construction methods onsite in consultation with the Senior Project Engineer and Construction Superintendent.
  • Monitor productivity and cost daily, weekly, and monthly, and report accordingly.
  • Procure permanent materials and subcontracts.
  • Ensure Site Engineers and subordinates understand their responsibilities and provide regular feedback for effective performance and develop team members for succession opportunities.
  • Manage short/medium construction planning for the works, including developing Work Level Analysis Hierarchy.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and key project personnel, ensuring buy-in to safety and quality strategies.
  • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to deliver the project safely, on time, within budget, and to quality requirements.
