The Project Engineer role at our company brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane to design and construct Snowy 2.0, one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.
Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering this high-profile project.
- Manage onsite technical matters, including construction verification works, scheduling, monitoring, planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate a multi-discipline workforce, comprising direct staff, supplementary labor, and external subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant design, safety, quality, community, environmental, and sustainability-related deliverables and documentation.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Procuring permanent materials and subcontractors.
- Leading delivery teams and overseeing the implementation of construction methods on site.
- Monitoring productivity and costs, preparing schedules, and coordinating personnel, equipment, and materials for effective mobilization.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in civil or mining engineering.
- White Card certification.
- Driver's license.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the Civil Construction industry, preferably on large-scale projects.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Competence in interpreting and explaining technical schedules and documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and reporting against cost and time.
This role requires a strong understanding of program management, deadlines, and budget controls, as well as high-level verbal and written communication skills.
