
Nurturing Families Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurturing Families Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work with vulnerable families and individuals, providing support and guidance to ensure their safety and well-being.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and addressing safety concerns surrounding children or young people, as well as working collaboratively with other agencies and stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice and guidance to families on safe parenting practices and strategies for managing risk
- Conduct thorough assessments of family situations, identifying potential risks and developing tailored plans to mitigate these
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including health professionals, social workers, and community organizations
- Work closely with families to develop and implement individualized plans to promote child safety and well-being
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Science, Welfare or related discipline
- Proven experience in child protection and family support services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with diverse populations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
