About the Role

As a Transaction Banking Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and collaborating in working capital solutions for new to bank and existing customers within Commercial.

  1. Drive profitable, sustainable growth of the Transaction Banking products in Commercial.
  2. Ensure complete needs analysis and appropriate solutions development for NTB and existing customers.
  3. Support customers' migration to digital channels as well as providing cyber security education.
  4. Maintain focus and uplift on account managed portfolio by undertaking regular Transaction Banking Reviews and Working Capital Analysis packs to drive portfolio growth objectives.
  5. Provide quality, timely and precise responses to customers to extend excellent customer experience.
  6. Educate customers with key insights on how they can use Transaction Banking better to strengthen and deepen the value of the customer relationship.
  7. Engage with stakeholders and enablers to raise the Transaction Banking brand and profile through collaboration and customer engagement.
  8. Identify risk issues within processes and determine remediation requirements.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  1. Transaction Banking product knowledge (both Commercial and Institutional) commensurate with expectations of job grade.
  2. A financial background with a strong understanding of the Payments Industry.
  3. Sales and networking experience with relationship building skills and the ability to manage clients.
  4. Solid negotiating and influencing skills, strong presentation skills.
  5. A genuine desire to contribute to the team whilst developing Transaction Banking experience.
  6. The ability to use initiative and work autonomously in ensuring deadlines are met.
  7. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated computer literacy.
  8. The ability to read and interpret financial data.
