We are seeking an experienced production machine operator to join our team.
With a solid understanding and proven experience in setting up and running machinery, this role offers stability and the opportunity to utilize your skills.
The ideal candidate will have worked with plastic previously and possess a mechanical mindset with a willingness to learn new skills.
A high regard for safety is essential, as well as the ability to lift weight up to 30kg and work varied shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of plastic pipe production, operating large extruder machines, Coilers & Stackers, and using an overhead crane.
Proven experience operating machinery on a busy production line and a current Forklift License or equivalent are required.
As part of the induction process, a drug and alcohol test will be conducted.
Key Responsibilities:- Operating large extruder machines
- Operating Coilers & Stackers
- Using an overhead crane
- Securing product in pallets with hand tools and electric strapping tool
- Operating a forklift
- Performing quality checks
- Proven experience operating machinery on a busy production line
- Previous production worker experience
- Forklift License or equivalent
- Mechanical mindset with a willingness to learn new skills
- High regard for safety
- Ability to lift weight up to 30kg
- Full and correct PPE
