As a Home Instead home care assistant, you will be part of a growing team that assists our clients with personal care, light household duties, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings.
This role allows you to work flexible hours that enable you to work during the day, evening, or weekends while making a difference through providing compassionate home care and supporting individuals to live independently at home.
We service areas from Coomera to Ballina and are currently looking for home care assistants who may speak a second language, including Arabic, Lebanese, Japanese, and Croatian.
About You:- You have a big heart, patience, and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.
- Be personable, compassionate, approachable, and able to build relationships.
- Must be located and willing to travel up to 30 minutes from your home.
- Must have a mobile smartphone and be able to navigate through various applications.
- Must have a valid driver license, access to a reliable car, and have comprehensive car insurance.
- Experience working in aged care.
- Work locally and receive higher than award rates.
- Opportunity to study a Certificate 3 in Individual Support via our training academy.
