Job Role Overview

This is a key position that requires the ability to maintain, repair and test medical equipment to ensure safe and effective patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Timely diagnose and repair medical equipment to prevent downtime and ensure continuous clinical services operation.
  • Conduct routine testing and maintenance of biomedical equipment in compliance with AS/NZS 3551 standards.
  • Accurately record and document service activities in line with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with healthcare staff to understand equipment issues and provide technical support.
  • Participate in equipment commissioning and decommissioning processes to ensure seamless operations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures and risk management guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Hold a qualification from an Institute of TAFE at least equivalent to AQF Certificate 4 level.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and a responsible attitude as a team player.
  • Desirable to have exposure or experience in ICT Networks and medical equipment integration.
  • Current NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel for work purposes.
