Equipment Maintenance Specialist

This is a key position that requires the ability to maintain, repair and test medical equipment to ensure safe and effective patient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Timely diagnose and repair medical equipment to prevent downtime and ensure continuous clinical services operation.
- Conduct routine testing and maintenance of biomedical equipment in compliance with AS/NZS 3551 standards.
- Accurately record and document service activities in line with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with healthcare staff to understand equipment issues and provide technical support.
- Participate in equipment commissioning and decommissioning processes to ensure seamless operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures and risk management guidelines.
- Hold a qualification from an Institute of TAFE at least equivalent to AQF Certificate 4 level.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a responsible attitude as a team player.
- Desirable to have exposure or experience in ICT Networks and medical equipment integration.
- Current NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel for work purposes.
