Disengaged Youth Support Specialist

You are an influential facilitator who effectively engages, supports and coaches disengaged young people by providing critical interventions. This is a dynamic role where you will hold a Certificate IV in Mental Health or a related discipline and have experience working with young people (12 - 24) in case management and brief intervention support with a focus on mental health and wellbeing outcomes.

You're passionate about working with at-risk and vulnerable young people and you know your stuff when it comes to guiding and collaborating in a flexible, youth-orientated environment. This role requires adaptability as every day may present new challenges, but you're able to switch from providing support to a service user, to writing impact reports for your manager seamlessly.

This position is pivotal in linking clients to other supports and services within the community, enabling positive health, social and economic outcomes for young people aged 6-24 years. It's essential that you believe everyone has different needs, and that is okay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct service delivery with clients experiencing multiple and complex needs
