Teaching Opportunity for a Dedicated Professional

Our school is seeking a qualified and passionate educator to join our team as a teacher of English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D). This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students from diverse backgrounds, promoting their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of EAL/D students, leveraging various pedagogies and teaching strategies.

Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to foster a supportive learning environment, ensuring the success of all students.

Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the broader community, providing guidance and support where needed.

Requirements:

  • Approval to teach EAL/D
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with staff and students
  • Flexibility in delivering a range of EAL/D pedagogies in diverse contexts
  • Ability to meet the learning and wellbeing needs of boys from non-English speaking, low socio-economic backgrounds
