Restructuring Advisory Specialist

The role of a Restructuring Advisory Specialist involves working with a high-performing team to provide empathetic and tailored assistance to clients facing economic challenges.
You will manage relationships and collaborate with external stakeholders, including business owners, investors, lenders, and solicitors, to develop innovative and commercial solutions for our clients.
- Manage your own portfolio of restructuring and insolvency matters, including managing all aspects of formal and informal insolvency engagements with support from other team members as appropriate.
- Lead complex investigations, including source and application of funds, forensic tracing exercises, voidable transactions, and insolvent trading reviews.
- Prepare and review creditor reports, statutory reports, and independent business reviews, and undertake and oversee detailed financial analysis.
- Participate in business development activities, including assisting Partners in preparing and pitching for new engagements, as well as being involved in presentations, marketing, and events.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- University degree in a related discipline, such as Business/Commerce, Accounting, or Finance, and/or relevant professional or overseas qualification(s).
- Strong accounting background with extensive experience in corporate insolvency/restructuring.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience providing coaching and training to other team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to learn and work as part of a collaborative team.
