Transaction Strategist and Technology Advisor Role

This team specializes in transaction strategy and technology advisory services, helping clients achieve their strategic objectives in acquisitions and divestments.

We cover a wide range of technology aspects in a transaction, including IT, cyber, software, and data due diligence, separation or integration analysis, value creation, synergy assessments, and supporting the integration or separation process from a technology workstream perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and evaluate key IT risks and considerations that impact deal value for buy-side clients.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on technical matters relating to separation or integration assessments.
  • Develop and present key deliverables to clients, while supporting business development activities.
  • Identify key client risks throughout the transaction lifecycle and mitigate these ahead of time.
  • Analyze and evaluate a company's IT financials, highlighting considerations for the transaction.
  • Lead engagement teams day-to-day in the delivery of deal technology services.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to firm policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience in 2 of the following domains: Mergers and acquisitions, Technology, Consulting / advisory services.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, curiosity, and creative thinking.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering high-quality reports and presentations.
  • Adept at building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.
