Job Opportunity: Community Support Worker

We are seeking suitably qualified or experienced casual Community Support Workers with good availability and a passion for providing excellent care to support our participants in Bendigo.

Lifely supports people of all ages living with a disability, enabling them to make their own choices and decisions. Our organisation provides information and support to ensure each person can expect the best possible outcomes according to their circumstances, needs and aspirations.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growing team. Remuneration commencing at $41.76 per hour for casual employees. Availability is required for at least three days per week, including morning and afternoon shifts. Part-time contracts may be available for those with ongoing availability that suits our participants.

  • A qualification or experience in Disability Services/Aged Care/Individual Support/Home and Community Care or similar field.
  • Experience in supporting people with complex needs and support requirements.
  • Strong ethics and genuine approach towards participant dignity and safety and Work Health and Safety.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, resilience and respond positively to change.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Well-developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Dedication to their job and their team.
  • Good presentation and a professional attitude.

  • NDIS Orientation Certificate
  • Driver Licence
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance
  • COVID vaccination (including first booster)
  • Proof of Right to work in Australia
