We are seeking a skilled Parts Coordination Specialist to join our team in Perth, focusing on the efficient sale and supply of parts to internal and external customers. This full-time, permanent opportunity is based in our Perth office and involves supporting both internal and external customers with exceptional customer support.
Key Responsibilities
As a Parts Coordination Specialist, your primary role will be to manage ordering and procurement of all parts for the manufacturing/workshop team in our Newman Branch. This includes sourcing parts and lead times of products not currently in stock, releasing parts in line with the required production schedule, maintaining part status overview for the production team, and serving as a designated point of contact for parts warehouse liaison. You will also align with the production team on part availability to align manufacturing schedules.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience in parts sourcing/procurement, preferably within a similar industry. Logistics coordination skills, including Forklift operation, are highly desirable. A mechanical or technical background is preferred, along with high levels of customer service and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Sound knowledge of working with an ERP system and Movex experience are also beneficial. The ideal candidate should be willing to work in a Perth-based role with some travel to the Pilbara region.
