
Central Coast Domestic Violence Support Specialist

Working with families affected by domestic and family violence requires a unique blend of skills and knowledge. As a compassionate Caseworker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families across the Central Coast.
The role involves providing comprehensive case management, conducting intake assessments and safety planning, facilitating family education groups, and building strong partnerships with services like NSW Police, DCJ, and NSW Health.
To be successful in this position, you will need to possess tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, as well as 2–3 years' experience in case work or case management supporting victims of domestic and family violence.
Knowledge of DFV and Child Protection legislation is essential, along with strong advocacy, crisis management, and facilitation skills. A NSW Driver's Licence and insured vehicle are also required.

This is a permanent, part-time position working 4 days per week. The pay rate is $44.58 per hour plus super and salary packaging.
