Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Die Setter Technician to join our client's team and contribute to its ongoing success. As a key member of the production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Die Setup: Set up injection moulding machines according to production schedules, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to mould setup, machine operation, and product defects to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks as specified and monitor production runs to ensure products meet quality specifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of mould changes, machine settings, and quality specifications, reporting any abnormalities or deviations.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, promoting a culture of safety among the team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancements in the injection moulding department.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Die Setter / Technician.
  • Proficiency in mould setup and troubleshooting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in injection moulding.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Able to work afternoon shift and overtime as needed.
