A Die Setter Position

We are seeking a skilled Die Setter to join our team.

The Role:

  • Assist in setting and removing dies from injection moulding machines, relocating removed dies to die store or maintenance area.
  • Operate machinery efficiently, adhering to policies and procedures in a professional environment.
  • Contribute to minimizing reject rates, ensuring quality standards are met at all times.

Requirements:

  • Equivalent experience in setting dies, training, and/or education as an Injection moulding die setter/moulder is advantageous.
  • Experience with small and large injection moulding machines and die setting is beneficial.
  • A can-do attitude with a willingness to help others and assist with housekeeping and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Start up and shut down machine & driers.
  • Change dies and inserts, making adjustments as needed.
  • Use crane to set and remove dies from machines.
  • Cycle the machine to produce goods parts.
  • Check parts for tolerances, surface blemishes, etc. and make adjustments to compensate any irregularities.
  • Operate all machinery and equipment in a safe manner.
