Senior Venue Operations Manager

This is a unique opportunity to lead a Byron Bay venue with purpose and passion.

Job Overview

The Senior Venue Operations Manager will oversee daily operations across the venue, ensuring that all areas meet the highest standard of service and guest experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of daily venue operations
  • Meeting operational objectives and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) including cost of goods sold (COGS), labor, and operational expenses
  • Development and implementation of strategies to grow revenue and attract new business
  • Support for recruitment, onboarding, and team development
  • Leadership, training, and motivation of a high-performing front-of-house team
  • Efficient management of rosters, inventory, and purchasing
  • Collaboration with the kitchen and events teams to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Identification and resolution of operational gaps to improve guest satisfaction
  • Leading by example on the floor, providing hands-on support, and maintaining high service standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a senior hospitality leadership or general manager role
  • Strong administration and Microsoft Office skills
  • Confidence in managing a fast-paced, high-volume venue environment
