Job Opportunity: Advanced Data Analyst

We are seeking a talented professional to lead our data management and analysis initiatives. This role is responsible for the technical aspects of developing, maintaining, and operating data products and services in our environment.

This includes managing SIEM products such as Splunk and Google Chronicle as well as Google Cloud Platform products like BigQuery, Bindplane, and Vertex AI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive quality, innovative data products and services through technical leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and implement advanced data analysis strategies and solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Solve complex problems with innovative approaches and focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements, and develop automation solutions to maximize effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working with Cyber Security teams and a strong understanding of Cyber threat and posture.
  • Proven skills in scripting and automation tools as well as data platforms and complex data integration.
  • Broad knowledge and confidence in multiple data and automation applications and tools.
  • At least 10 years of experience developing and operating applications and tools in a large enterprise environment.
  • Experience in managing significant security incidents and contributing to the development of robust security measures.
  • Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and problem-solve through breaking down complex systems.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in virtual agile teams to deliver against strategic objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across a matrix organisation.
