Job Title:
Advanced Data Analyst - Modelling Expertise
As a Senior Data Scientist at a leading retail banking services provider, you will be responsible for developing and managing key modelling assets to drive business outcomes. This role involves utilising state-of-the-art data science and statistical techniques to create predictive models that solve complex data-centric problems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage predictive models using industry-leading machine learning and statistical techniques.
- Collaborate with product teams to deliver timely and compliant solutions.
- Proactively contribute to and encourage the sharing of knowledge with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in machine learning and advanced data analytics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to details and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A relevant tertiary qualification e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Computer Science or Engineering.
