To make a lasting difference, we need dedicated individuals to provide regular follow-up with clients. This role is all about ensuring our services have a sustainable and long-term impact on the lives of those we support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Checking in and surveying clients who have attended our services, reviewing the impact our services have had, and addressing any additional needs.
  • Identifying and monitoring trends among clients and reporting them to direct supervisors.
  • Identifying concerns when engaging with clients and escalating when required.
  • Updating client information when required in our database.
  • Collecting feedback, updating case files, and assisting in the preparation of reports.
  • Linking people with relevant internal and external supports or services as appropriate.

This volunteer opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, including active listening, relationship building, problem solving, efficiency, empathy, and collaboration. You will also need an understanding of issues affecting people seeking asylum in Australia, intermediate computer skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff and volunteers.
