Job Role: Community Service Facilitator

This pivotal position plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional front-line services to the community from a local office. As a Community Service Facilitator, you will contribute to the effective delivery of quality services by performing a range of client and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in a trauma-informed way to ensure the needs of clients are holistically addressed.
  • Deliver client service and support for victims of crime, ensuring timely service that exceeds client expectations.
  • Collaborate with Victim Services teams to administer the Victims Support Scheme and identify opportunities to improve policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Achieve and exceed key performance indicators and performance targets.
  • Comply with relevant legislations and regulatory frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and record management while upholding confidentiality at all times.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues and confidential information.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle confronting situations and remain calm under pressure.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Planning and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines in a demanding work environment.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.

Experience in community services or prior experience within government is highly beneficial.
