About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part Time Sales Representative to join our team at Beacon Lighting in Chatswood. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our retail and trade customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert professional customer service to our customers, ensuring a positive and engaging experience
  • Promote and expand our Trade Loyalty Program and Trade accounts, building strong relationships with our trade customers
  • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
  • Achieve and exceed personal sales targets, contributing to the growth and success of the business
  • Support other team members to ensure business goals are met, working collaboratively as part of a high-performing team
  • Contribute to the overall presentation of the store through merchandising and general housekeeping, maintaining a high level of visual appeal and customer experience
  • Support local community and charitable organizations, demonstrating our commitment to corporate social responsibility
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualities:

  • Previous experience in a retail environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to genuinely connect with customers and build rapport
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of the job, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Competency in POS systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations
