As a Registered Nurse in our rehabilitation ward, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient-Centered Care: Provide evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care on the ward.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Safety First: Prioritize patient and staff safety while upholding the highest care standards.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and supervise nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs), to deliver top-quality patient care.
  • Patient Education: Empower patients with education and support for their health recovery and overall well-being.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current AHPRA Registration: Hold a valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Clinical Experience: Bring a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience to the role, with a strong foundation in rehabilitation nursing.
  • Commitment to Quality: Demonstrate unwavering commitment to delivering quality patient care in line with industry standards.
  • Clinical Competence: Exhibit sound clinical decision-making skills and adept problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective Communication: Showcase excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Team Player: Thrive both independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Possess proficiency in basic computer operations.
