Job Overview

The Training Systems Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the P-8A Poseidon Training team at RAAF Base Edinburgh.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and refining courseware to meet customer requirements, generating virtual mission scenarios to ensure simulated training events meet operator needs, and administering the Learning Management System to host courseware, assessments, and course enrollment.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience and/or knowledge of Maritime Patrol Reconnaissance and training methodology applicable to synthetic training environments. Additionally, you must have demonstrated experience in Learning Management System administration, courseware development using MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite software tools, and interpreting customer training requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine courseware to meet customer requirements
  • Generate virtual mission scenarios to ensure simulated training events meet operator needs
  • Administer the Learning Management System

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE 40116/22) or equivalent qualification
  • Australian Citizenship to meet Defence security requirements
