At our wool store, we are seeking a Store Person/Forklift Operator to support the day-to-day operations of the facility. This hands-on role will involve assisting with wool receivals, testing, and shipping as well as forklift operation, wool pressing, scheduling pickups and on-farm collections.

About the Role
  • Assist with operational duties such as unloading trucks and moving stock around the facility
  • Support the processing and preparation of wool for dispatch
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
  • Press wool and assist with its maintenance
  • Coordinate wool shipments and schedule pickups from farms
  • Conduct on-farm collections in MR/HR licensed vehicles
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a similar environment or related industry
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and show initiative
  • Computer literacy and data entry skills
  • Highly motivated and self-driven individual
  • Current forklift certification
  • MR/HR truck license desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and career development
