Job Description:

We are seeking a Store Person/Forklift Operator to support the day-to-day operations of our wool store. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with wool receivals, testing, and shipping. They will also load and unload trucks, handle wool, including pressing, and assist with scheduling wool pickups. Additionally, they will perform on-farm pickups (MR/HR truck license desirable) and participate in ongoing career development and mentoring programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the wool store
  • Help with wool receivals, testing, and shipping
  • Load and unload trucks (Forklift operation)
  • Handle wool, including pressing
  • Assist with scheduling wool pickups
  • Perform on-farm pickups (MR/HR truck license desirable)
  • Ongoing career development and mentoring programs
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will possess experience in a similar role or related field. They will be able to work unsupervised and show initiative, with strong computer and data entry skills. A high level of motivation and self-drive is essential, along with a valid forklift certification and MR/HR truck license (desirable).
