Leadership Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate leader to join our Homelessness program in Darwin.

The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals, guiding them through the day-to-day delivery of services that support people at risk of homelessness. This includes developing and implementing systems to enhance service delivery, promoting staff wellbeing, and supporting safe and effective practice.

You will work closely with local community partners to ensure services are delivered in a culturally responsive and safe manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of professionals in delivering high-quality services
  • Develop and implement systems to enhance service delivery and promote staff wellbeing
  • Support clients directly, helping them navigate challenges and find appropriate services
  • Obtain and implement client feedback to improve services
  • Promote and represent our organization across the Northern Territory, building trust and strengthening our presence in the community

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in the homelessness sector or transferable skills from the broader community services sector
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support teams to deliver high-quality services
  • Strong people skills and ability to build positive relationships
  • A commitment to listening to client feedback and improving services
  • Awareness of the unique strengths and challenges of NT communities, including the ongoing impacts of colonisation and intergenerational disadvantage for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
