SustainRecruit is partnering with a leading Financial Services firm to find a Senior Financial Leader to join their team. As an industry leader, they offer a close-knit team environment with broad responsibilities and opportunities for ownership of various projects.

Our client has experienced significant growth over the past few years, resulting in high levels of head count growth. This presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to continue developing and growing in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 accountants
  • Oversee financial reporting processes, corporate accounting operations, and statutory / tax related compliance
  • Lead on various automation processes from start to finish and creation of dashboards for stakeholders
  • Liaise with auditors for year-end processes
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks and enquiries

Requirements:

  • CA / CPA qualified accountant (or similar)
  • Commercial or Audit background within the Financial Services sector
  • Strong Excel skills; data viz tool experience would be beneficial
  • Experience with system implementations and leading on projects would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Ability to take the initiative, work with a sense of urgency and be adaptable to change
