External Security Vetting Senior Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented External Security Vetting Senior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling complex personal security clearance processes across various clearance levels, such as Baseline, Negative Vetting Level 1, Negative Vetting Level 2, and Positive Vetting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clearance Process Management: Develop and implement efficient clearance processes that meet the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) standards.
  • E-Case Management System Utilization: Leverage electronic case management systems to streamline clearance processing and ensure accuracy.
  • Candidate Interviews: Conduct thorough interviews and collect relevant information from Clearance Subjects.
  • Advisory Services: Provide guidance on clearance outcomes and handle complex vetting cases with tact and discretion.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure meticulous scrutiny of extensive data to identify potential security risks.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards in vetting processes and documentation, adhering strictly to PSPF guidelines.
  • Time Management: Effectively manage competing demands on time to ensure milestones and SLAs are met.
Qualifications
  • Negative Vetting Level 1 Certification: Possess a minimum Negative Vetting Level 1 certification with opportunities for advancement to Negative Vetting Level 2.
  • Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting): Hold a Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
  • Extensive Vetting Experience: Possess extensive experience in government or similar high-security environments.
