Job Title: Experienced Leader for Family Violence Service

Role Overview:

The successful applicant will lead a specialized service delivering counseling and support to adults, children, and young people who have experienced family violence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of services is of the highest professional standard, responsive, effective, and efficient.
  • Form partnerships with other teams within the organization and external service providers to ensure an integrated service system.
  • Assist in planning and managing human, financial, and physical resources against agreed performance indicators and benchmarks.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to staff, facilitating quality improvement, education, and research projects.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, family members, and other service providers involved in their care.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of family violence, including clinical and therapeutic management of clients with complex care needs.
  • Proven management experience, including knowledge of contemporary management practices.
  • Highly developed self-management skills, enabling adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, research, and ongoing professional development.
