Rheumatology Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled rheumatologist to join our dynamic team in Northern Tasmania, Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist physician to practice in a regional hospital environment while contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care through outpatient consultations and inpatient advice provision.
  • Engage in collaborative multidisciplinary teams to drive excellence in patient outcomes.
  • Pursue research and teaching opportunities supported by the Clifford Craig Foundation and the University of Tasmania.
  • Work with close supervision and collegial support from the Rheumatology Unit at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

Requirements:

  • Hold FRACP (Rheumatology) or equivalent specialist qualifications.
  • Be eligible for registration as a medical practitioner in Australia.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care, teaching, and continuous professional development.
