Rheumatology Specialist

Description:

The Launceston General Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Tasmania, serving a population of approximately 250,000.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment focusing on delivering improved outcomes for consumers workforce and the Tasmanian community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver specialist medical care to patients requiring rheumatology services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in educational programs and workshops to enhance professional development.
Requirements:
  • Hold specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Be registered as an International Medical Graduate (IMG) on the specialist pathway or have a recognised overseas specialist qualification with sufficient experience in the specialty.
  • Current Working with Children Registration is required where applicable and as specified by individual position requirements.

Provide excellent patient care and contribute to a positive work environment.
