Mid-Senior Insurance Broker Role

We are seeking an experienced insurance broker to join our team as a mid-senior level professional. This is a full-time position that will provide you with the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of clients and develop your skills in insurance broking.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously, including portfolio management, business development, relationship building, client advice, and business retention. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a high level of attention to detail and quality standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a tier 1 qualification in insurance broking and at least 5 years of experience in the industry. You will also need to be presentable, confident, and professional, with knowledge of insurance products, legislative obligations, and claim processes.

  • Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, insurance markets, and distribution partners.
  • Provide personalized advice to clients in all matters affecting their insurance program needs, explaining insurance policy conditions, risks covered, premium rates, and benefits.
  • Identify and develop new business prospects, contributing to business growth and development.
  • Contribute to business retention activities, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring high-quality broking standards.
