We are seeking an experienced chef to join our culinary team. As a chef, you will be responsible for preparing healthy and delicious meals for children in childcare centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation that meets nutrition standards and dietary requirements.
  • Plan and prepare menus for children's meals in consultation with the Centre Director.
  • Monitor inventory and order food and ingredients as needed.
  • Implement effective food safety guidelines and hygiene practices.
  • Communicate effectively with Centre staff and families regarding menu planning and food safety.
Requirements
  • Current Food Handling Certificate.
  • All current and relevant food handling/food safety training and hygiene practices.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Enthusiasm, initiative, and ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Experience in preparation of meals for large numbers of people.
  • Sound knowledge of Food Handling and Australian Dietary Guidelines.
