Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Logistics Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating the dispatch of goods to customers, ensuring timely and professional communication with customer contacts, and maintaining accurate records.

About the Role:

  • Scheduling of outbound customer and inter-site orders to ensure efficient delivery processes.
  • Maintaining proactive communication with customer contacts regarding issues impacting service and overall performance.
  • Responsible for administration associated with the outbound dispatch of goods, including preparing and coordinating reports related to inventory and logistics.
  • Utilizing JD Edwards ERP system to run customer orders and warehouse pick lists, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Collecting, coordinating, and reviewing all paperwork from operators to ensure records are correct and accurate.
  • Reporting and correcting stock discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating driver's manifests and generating delivery runs to optimize logistics operations.
  • Leading the coordination of vehicles on site and ensuring loading in order of priority.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly reports are completed as required, and all customer orders are accounted for and processed for invoicing on the day they are dispatched.
  • Contributing to a positive team environment and participating in activities to build continuous improvement of the function.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with JD Edwards/Oracle One World (ERP Systems).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Broad knowledge of inventory control processes and KPIs.
  • Previous experience in a dispatch role or logistics environment, with excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
