We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage networks that support business operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement network solutions aligned with business requirements and technology strategy.
  2. Implement telephony solutions to support unified communications.
  3. Implement network security solutions, such as firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
  4. Carry out regular network patching to ensure systems remain secure and up to date.
  5. Produce clear, comprehensive documentation covering designs, configurations, and implementation processes.
  6. Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, project tasks, and technical problems within agreed timelines.
  7. Coordinate with third-party providers and support partners to deliver effective solutions across multiple technologies.
  8. Deploy networking solutions on-site when necessary to support business operations or projects.
  9. Partner with project teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
  10. Evaluate and analyse technology options, defining selection criteria and documenting assessments.
  11. Conduct thorough testing of business scenarios to ensure all functional and technical requirements are met.
  12. Implement RingCentral Phone System and NICE inContact functionalities, including call routing, reporting, and integrations.
  13. Proactively escalate issues or risks to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience in networking technologies, including LAN, SD WAN and Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with networking hardware and firmware upgrades.
  • Experience with Voice, Mobile, Data and Satellite connectivity.
  • Good understanding of network security technologies, including Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple project activities of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Result-driven and good attention to detail.
  • The ability to work autonomously.
