Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Clinicians to join our multidisciplinary team at Northpark Private Hospital. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health programs.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate evidence-based group and individual therapeutic interventions for patients experiencing mental health difficulties in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, other allied health clinicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care.
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and represent your discipline as needed.
- Participate in the development and review of programs to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Appropriate recognized qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, or Exercise Physiology.
- Registration with AHPRA under the National Law Act 2009 or relevant professional bodies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively.
- Experience in group facilitation within therapeutic frameworks.
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a high-functioning multidisciplinary team.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and patient-focused.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 and Influenza.
- Experience in delivering a wide range of therapeutic modalities with patients across the lifespan and at different life stages.
- Expertise in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
- Expertise in perinatal mental health.
- Expertise in geriatric mental health.
